Tyler Black Nabs Best Player Trophy

Tyler Black took OLL Class A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Pearl Ports star has been named the 2021 OLL Class A Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .339 batting average to go with a .418 on-base percentage. The native of Toronto, Canada also added 13 doubles, 4 triples, 25 home runs, 94 RBIs and 78 runs scored.
He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 26. Ivan Gamez of the Salyersville Blue Jays finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Josh Ockimey of the St. Armand Mammoths finished third.
