Aviators Heading to World Series Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 The Medford Aviators bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a World Series championship. Medford downed the Edmore Golden Hawks 2-0 tonight at Aviators Ballpark, to take the League Championship Series 4-2. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Bobby Zmarzlak, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the OLL Rookie League." For the series, Zmarzlak had 10 hits for .357, with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Medford Aviators don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Minot Sluggers - Ellsworth Bulls series. Ellsworth leads the series 3 games to 2.
