Aviators Win East Division Crown Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Medford Aviators clubhouse, after the team clinched the East Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Casey Candaele. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 52-13 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st World Series championship. Closer Joan Adon said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 1st division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
