5-for-5 Day for Rivero Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Daniel Rivero of the Medford Aviators had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 7-3 win over the Irvine Marlins at Marlins Park. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 20-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Daniel Rivero singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. This season Rivero is batting .400 with 2 home runs.
