OR Names Best Player Monday, July 19th, 2021 So far in his young career, Hedbert Perez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Rookie League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 18-year-old Harper Juggernauts center fielder hit at a torrid .520 clip as he collected 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this season in 26 games Perez is batting .286 with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 98 at-bats. |
