OR's Top Pitcher is Gonzalez Friday, October 2nd, 2020 Wilkelman Gonzalez finished off a fine season by taking home the OLL Rookie League Pitcher of the Year Award today. The Thorndale hurler went 2-2 on the year, posting a 1.82 ERA. Gonzalez also tallied 104 strikeouts in 79 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .151 against him. He received 26 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Thomas Farr of the Ellsworth Bulls finished second in voting, while Pat Anderson of the Thorndale Patriots finished third.
