Chackbay Comes up Empty Against Greene Saturday, August 8th, 2020 The Chackbay Trail Blazers had no answer today for Huntington Beach Black Bears pitcher Hunter Greene. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 5-0. Chackbay managed only 1 hit off Greene, who had 9 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Greene got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Black Bears fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible." |
