Season Ends for Josh Pearson of Chackbay Friday, July 17th, 2020 The doctors have spoken and Josh Pearson of the Chackbay Trail Blazers didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old second baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Pearson sustained his season-ending injury during the Blennerhassett Hurons game yesterday at Trail Blazers Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Chackbay medical staff reported Pearson had a severely strained hip muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. Pearson is hitting .241 this year with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .305, 10 walks and scored 12 times. |
