Mistico Stretches Hit String to 25 Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 Antoine Mistico has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Laredo Mastadons center fielder extended his streak today to 25 games, going 1-for-4 as Laredo got the best of the Winnfield Lumber Kings at Lumber Kings Ballpark, 8-3. "Antoine has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Mastadons manager Jim McGee said. Antoine Mistico flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. In 26 games this season Mistico has batted at a .333 pace with 37 hits and 1 home run. |
