Diaz Smashes 3 HR Monday, June 22nd, 2020 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Field of the Hurons buzzing, Blennerhassett Hurons third baseman Danny Diaz blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 9-4 win over the Delcambre Titans. "Everything was clicking," Diaz told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Diaz shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Hurons manager Julio Abreu said. "Danny played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Danny Diaz hit a two-run home run off Ty Madden in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Brhajjana Vamshi in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Brhajjana Vamshi in the 4th, walked in the 6th and walked in the 8th. For the season Diaz is hitting .444, batted in 11 runs with 4 home runs and 6 runs scored. |
