August's Premier Batter Announced Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 For a rookie just breaking in, Samir Duenez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the OR Batter of the Month award for August. The 25-year-old first baseman for the Laredo Mastadons hit .366 with 11 home runs, 28 RBIs and 20 runs scored. On the year Duenez is hitting .353 with 59 hits, 14 home runs, 34 RBIs, .430 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
