Season May Be Over for Marlins Beasley
Saturday, August 21st, 2021
The doctors have spoken and Aaron Beasley of the Irvine Marlins didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Beasley sustained his season-ending injury during the Ellsworth Bulls game yesterday at Marlins Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Irvine medical staff reported Beasley had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.
This season Beasley has a 3-2 record with a 3.28 ERA.
