Pittsburgh Loses Jackson Nezuh, Will Miss Season Monday, August 16th, 2021 Jackson Nezuh will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Pittsburgh reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Nezuh was injured while throwing a pitch in the Volcanoes-Marlins clash at Marlins Park recently. Doctors said he has radial nerve compression and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months. His stats sheet for the year shows Nezuh has managed to hold opponents to a .308 average in 10 relief appearances, while putting up 0-0 record with 24 strikeouts and 10 walks in 24 innings. He has a 4.50 ERA with 2 saves. |
