Plano C Miller Suspended Friday, August 13th, 2021 Jackson Miller of the Plano Biscuits has been reprimanded and given a 3-game suspension for a shouting match with the plate umpire during a recent game at Field of the Hurons with the Blennerhassett Hurons. The Biscuits catcher said he didn't touch the umpire, but the umpire insisted he did. "I didn't see it, I didn't feel it," Miller said. "I was trying everything I could not to make contact with him. The league always sides with umpires. There is no use to appeal." A look at his current stats shows Miller with a .271 average, 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has played in 35 games. |
