Week's Premier Performer Honored by OR Monday, August 9th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the OLL Rookie League, but last week Samir Duenez of the Laredo Mastadons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Duenez rocked opposing pitching for a .462 average (12-for-26), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. This season in 24 games Duenez is batting .376 with 8 home runs, 16 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
