Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Machado Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 Estiven Machado's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-2 in a 14-0 Minot Sluggers triumph over the Irvine Marlins at Ballpark of Minot. The 18-year-old shortstop has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Sluggers. Estiven Machado hit a two-run double in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, walked in the 4th and doubled in the 6th. For the year Machado is batting .415 with 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
