Irvine-Plano Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, July 30th, 2021 If there wasn't a history between Rylan Charles of Irvine and Luis Moncada of Plano, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 10 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Charles said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." On the season, Charles is batting .250 with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 26 games. Moncada has made 11 relief appearances this year and notched 1 save. To date in 15.2 innings he has a 3-0 record, 5.17 ERA with 21 strikeouts and 9 walks. |
