5-Hit Blitz by Festus's Rogers Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 It was a parade of hits for Will Rogers of the Festus Redskins at Ballpark of Huntington Beach today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Rogers finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Redskins to a 13-7 victory. "Rogers was really good and we were really bad," groaned Black Bears manager Ed Blankmeyer. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Will Rogers doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Anderson Feliz in the 8th, struck out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
