Ben Vespi Hurt, Out for Year Monday, July 12th, 2021 Ben Vespi has to call it a season. The Westwood Big Cats starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Huntington Beach Black Bears and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Vespi was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. |
