Pollard Captures OR Award for Best Manager Thursday, October 1st, 2020 The Thorndale Patriots had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Mike Pollard reaped the reward of being voted OLL Rookie League Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Pollard told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Pollard the Patriots finished third in the West Division with a record of 44-24. |
