Miniard Tosses 5-0 Shutout Sunday, July 12th, 2020 Magic was in the air and on the mound at Butchers Ballpark today as Micah Miniard held the Winston-Salem Butchers spellbound in his 5-0 shutout victory. The DeLeon Springs Mets pitcher went the distance, rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 2 and held the Butchers to 5 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Winston-Salem manager Ramon Peters said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." Thus far this season, Miniard has worked 85 innings with 91 strikeouts en route to a 6-4 record and a 2.96 ERA. |
