Anchorage Narrowly Wins West Division Monday, September 6th, 2021 The owner of the Anchorage Wolfhounds was front and center in the Anchorage Wolfhounds clubhouse tonight. With the team having just clinched the West Division, the owner came down to personally congratulate his players on the honor. "I know how hard they work every day for us, so it's hats-off to them," he said. "I know many owners probably prefer to stay up away from things, but I'm happy to celebrate this with these guys." Closer Stephen Nogosek said after the franchise's 1st division title, he hopes they soon give the team's owner much more to celebrate. "We want to bring a championship back to Anchorage. The city and our fans deserve it," he said. A World Series win would be the team's 1st OLL Class A championship. |
