OA Top Pitcher Award for August to DeCovich Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Over the past month Mitchell DeCovich has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the OLL Class A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Colorado Springs Armadillos posted 5-0 mark and a 2.12 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 34 innings, permitted 16 hits and fanned 43 batters. So far this season DeCovich has compiled a 13-3 record with a 3.45 ERA. |
