Colorado Springs's Torkelson Top OA Batter in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Spencer Torkelson may be much younger than other hitters in the OLL Class A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Colorado Springs left fielder hit .337 with 13 home runs, 37 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Looking at his stats this year, Torkelson has compiled a .287 batting average, while hitting 27 home runs and driving in 75 runs. He has played in 83 games and scored 54 runs. |
