Mt. Horeb's Mendoza Will Miss Season Monday, August 30th, 2021 The season is apparently over for Dante Mendoza. The Mt. Horeb Steeldogs medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 11 months with a torn labrum. Mendoza was hurt in the game against Montgomery while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far this year Mendoza has a 5-7 record with a 5.09 ERA. |
