Player of the Week: Ramirez of the Cats Monday, August 30th, 2021 Abiezel Ramirez burst onto the OLL Class A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Brewster garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .522 (12-for-23) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week. This season Ramirez is batting .241 with 51 hits, 8 home runs, 28 RBIs, .308 OBP and has scored 29 runs. |
