Torkelson on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 9th, 2021 So far in his young career, Spencer Torkelson has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Class A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Colorado Springs Armadillos left fielder hit at a torrid .462 clip as he collected 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In 2021 Torkelson has hit at a .289 clip with 73 hits, 19 home runs, 56 RBIs and has scored 44 times. |
