OA Star of the Week Named Monday, July 12th, 2021 So far in his young career, B.J. Ayers has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Class A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Morristown Canaries right fielder hit at a torrid .357 clip as he collected 10 hits in 28 at-bats, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. For the season Ayers has produced 48 hits in 227 at-bats for a .211 average with 12 home runs and gotten on base at a .286 clip. |
