OA Player of the Week Goes to Morel of Durham Monday, June 21st, 2021 So far in his young career, Christopher Morel has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Class A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Durham Buzz left fielder hit at a torrid .533 clip as he collected 8 hits in 15 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. To date, Morel has collected 67 hits for a .268 average. He has posted 14 home runs, scored 40 runs and driven in 40 runs. |
