Andrew Abbott Lost for Season Friday, May 7th, 2021 The Akron Chippers were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Andrew Abbott left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Abbott has suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. To date this year, Abbott shows a 3-0 record, 6 starts, 31.1 innings, 39 strikeouts and a 1.72 ERA. |
