Corsairs Jenkins Lost for Year Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 The season is ending on a bad note for Eric Jenkins, center fielder for the Chula Vista Corsairs. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Jenkins was hurt against the Dixon Lightning while making a defensive play. He suffered a concussion and will be out for at least 7 months. This year Jenkins is hitting .222 with 1 home run and 5 RBIs in 15 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .306 with 6 walks and 6 runs scored. |
