Martinez Wins OA Best Player Award Monday, April 12th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the OLL Class A, but last week Francis Martinez of the Chula Vista Corsairs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Martinez rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 7 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. |
