Sanchez Now 3-1 After Subduing Yaks
|
Sixto Sanchez was locked and loaded, helping the Cleveland Spiders beat the New York Yaks, 7-1. The win puts Cleveland at 40-36 this season.
Sanchez, who dominated for Cleveland, earned the victory to move to 3-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. New York batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"It feels good to get this one," Sanchez told the Cleveland Bulletin.
