The Baltimore Archers picked up a win at The Castle, knocking off the Mesa Barracudas, 8-6. Starting pitcher Luis Severino played a key role in the triumph. Severino went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-2. Baltimore now has a record of 26-16 with the win.

The Archers got a lift from right fielder Evan White, who in the bottom of the sixth stroked a full count changeup into center for a bases-clearing double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Archers ahead, 6-4.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Severino. "But I like how we're playing right now."
