The Mesa Barracudas racked up a win at The Meltdown, bumping off the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-1. Rick Porcello, who started for Mesa, pitched effectively for his team. The win puts Mesa at 7-10.

Paul DeJong, who is tied for 5th in the OLL in home runs with 7, helped out the Mesa cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said DeJong.
