The Austin Murder Hornets trumped the Mesa Barracudas, 5-1, at The Hornet Nest. Austin right fielder Christian Yelich was terrific. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Austin goes to 1-1.

Yelich had a key at-bat for Austin early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Austin an early 2-0 lead.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Yelich.
