Kansas City's Cartaya Sidelined for Season Friday, August 14th, 2020 The season is ending on a bad note for Diego Cartaya, catcher for the Kansas City Silver Knights. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Cartaya was hurt against the Medford Lookouts while running the bases. He suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will be out for at least 4 months. Currently Cartaya is hitting .150 and has collected no home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 9 times, while playing in 44 games. |
