Kurtz Blisters Hialeah Saturday, August 8th, 2020 It was a magical day at the plate for Sunrise Manor Miners center fielder Trent Kurtz. The 23-year-old Kurtz helped lift Sunrise Manor to a 12-9 win over the Hialeah Sun Cats today at Sun Cats Ballpark. Kurtz smacked 5 hits in 7 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Trent Kurtz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. So far this season, Kurtz has recorded a .278 batting average with 37 hits, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, 23 runs scored and a .333 OBP. |
