Cam Brown Hurt, Out for Year Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 When Cam Brown was hurt against the Odessa Gales, the Shelbyville Gold Miners were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Brown would miss 13 months of the season. In 9 starts this season Brown has fashioned a 0-2 record and a 4.20 ERA. |
