Castro Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 It was a big day for Fidel Castro and he brought the Deale Fighting Knights along for the ride. Castro led his club to a 9-0 victory over the La Fayette Green Sox today at Fighting Knights Ballpark, smoking La Fayette pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 21-year-old right fielder later called the victory "sweet." Fidel Castro doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Carson Spiers in the 8th. Currently Castro has 4 home runs and a .314 batting average. |
