William Jeffry Wins OS A Trophy Monday, September 13th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the OLL Short Season A, but last week William Jeffry of the Roan Mountain Royals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Jeffry rocked opposing pitching for a .480 average (12-for-25), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Jeffry is hitting .272 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 83 hits in 305 at-bats and a .326 OBP. |
