Cheek and Acker Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, September 12th, 2021 Mike Cheek of the Corpus Christi Musketeers and Dane Acker of the Amarillo Mud Hens received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Ballpark of Corpus Christi. This year Cheek is hitting .244 with 30 hits, 1 home run, 12 RBIs and has scored 13 runs. This season Acker has fanned 78 in 80.1 innings and collected a 6-5 record with a 4.82 ERA. |
