Johnson Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, September 6th, 2021 So far in his young career, Christian Johnson has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Short Season A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Fontana Diamondbacks right fielder hit at a torrid .379 clip as he collected 11 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Johnson is batting .191 with 49 hits, 15 home runs, 33 RBIs, .264 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
