Injury Sidelines Jonathan Stroman for Season

Doctors in Roan Mountain said Jonathan Stroman might not play anymore this year. The Royals reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Shreveport Flying Squirrels and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
This season in 20 relief appearances Stroman has thrown 28.1 innings and collected 1 save. His won-lost record is 2-2 with a 2.22 ERA.
