August's Best OS A Hitter is Chad McClanahan Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Chad McClanahan put together a good August to earn the OLL Short Season A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Green Cove Springs officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Fusion first baseman posted a .293 batting average with 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored. McClanahan is batting .249 this season in 64 games with 19 home runs, 51 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 233 at-bats. |
