Big Bat Pays Off, De La Rosa Player of the Week Monday, August 23rd, 2021 So far in his young career, Jeremy De La Rosa has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Short Season A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Kansas City Silver Knights center fielder hit at a torrid .517 clip as he collected 15 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year De La Rosa is hitting .333 with 70 hits, 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 29 runs. |
