Players Suspended in Cossacks-Silver Knights Donnybrook Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 Elijah Holmes of the Spokane Cossacks and Matt Sauer of the Kansas City Silver Knights will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Cossacks-Silver Knights game at Cossacks Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Holmes and Sauer will begin serving them soon. To date, Holmes has collected 33 hits for a .250 average. He has posted 1 home run, scored 18 runs and driven in 20 runs. So far this year Sauer has no saves in 13 relief appearances with a 0-4 record and 2.76 ERA. |
