Season Ends for Ron Cole of Bertsch-Oceanview Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 Ron Cole of the Seminoles just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Bertsch-Oceanview reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Salt Lake City Mercury recently at Seminoles Stadium. Cole suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Seminoles medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. Cole's record this season is 3-and-1 with no saves and a 5.65 ERA. He has given up 16 hits in 14.1 innings with 19 strikeouts. |
