Spokane Loses Blake Burzell for Season Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 The season is apparently over for Blake Burzell. The Spokane Cossacks medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 6 months with shoulder inflammation. Burzell was hurt in the game against La Fayette while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date he has nailed down 0 saves for his club. In 9 relief appearances, Burzell has 10 strikeouts in 10.2 innings with a 1.69 ERA and a 0-0 mark. |
