Pomares Given 4-Game Suspension Friday, June 25th, 2021 A press release issued by the league stated that Cossacks right fielder Jairo Pomares was suspended for "confronting a game official" after yesterday's Spokane-Crugers at Honkers Ballpark. In the statement the league said, "This is totally unacceptable behavior and will be dealt with harshly." Pomares had a run-in with the home plate umpire during the game and was ejected for vehemently objecting to a third strike. |
